Executive Digital Mentoring: Applications now closed

NDF is now taking expressions of interest for the Executive Digital Mentoring Program 2023. If you are interested in taking part, either as a participant to be mentored or as a mentor, apply now. Spaces are extremely limited.

Developed by ACMI in 2021, this 2023 program marks the initiative’s extension in Aotearoa, delivered in partnership by NDF and ACMI.

This program will provide tailored strategic technology and digital mentoring to cultural organisation leaders in Aotearoa and the Pacific.

Leaders will learn how to make better investments in long-term technology, develop digital skills, and enhance their understanding of the risks and opportunities in a rapidly changing digital environment. Sector leaders are partnered with sector-recognised experts to enhance their knowledge of digital strategy and technology-informed innovation. Participants are encouraged to bring specific questions and organisational needs to their one-on-one mentoring sessions.

Thanks to the support of the Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage Regeneration Fund, this program can be provided to participants free of charge. Up to six individuals from across the country will be selected and sponsored to take part in this cohort.

Mentors will be remunerated for their time. They are offered consistent support throughout the program, including online training sessions with Culture 24 to provide some foundational tools and tips.

The program is designed to be held entirely online. However if participants are paired with mentors in their area, they are welcome to have face-to-face mentoring sessions if they wish.

Participants and mentors must be able to commit to 4 x 90 minute one-on-one sessions between September - November 2023. Session times will be built around participant and mentor availability.

We invite interested mentors and executive leaders from organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific Islands to apply.

We are committed to providing a mentoring program that embraces and values diversity, inclusion and accessibility. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, orientations and identities. We strongly encourage the engagement of Tangata Whenua as well as people belonging to under-represented communities to apply.

We welcome organisations of all shapes and sizes to apply and are particularly looking to support organisations that are small-medium sized, regional, and Māori and Pasifika led.

Applications close August 10th.
