Volunteers make a huge contribution to the culture sector in Aotearoa - often doing amazing in-house work guiding visitors, assisting with collection management and research, and so much more.
Digital volunteering expands this potential, offering flexibility for local community members who may not always be able to visit in person, while also connecting with volunteers from around the world.
Join our online session with Victoria Passau, Online Cenotaph and Enquiry Services Manager at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum, to learn how her team works with digital volunteers from Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. Victoria will discuss communication strategies, digital tools, the types of mahi the volunteers undertake, and how their contributions are integral to the ongoing success of Online Cenotaph.
This free session will be a great case study for anyone who wants to learn more about the potential of digital volunteers. You'll also have the chance to submit questions in advance during the registration process.
If you can't make it on the day, sign up anyway and we'll send you the recording!
