AI AMBASSADORS: LEARNING THROUGH PRACTICAL EXPERIMENTATION

AI is here and the media often emphasizes how it is boosting efficiency across the board. However, beyond using ChatGPT for writing and generative AI tools for creating images, many struggle to integrate AI effectively into their daily work. Why is adopting it so challenging? This presentation explores how ACMI addresses this challenge through their innovative AI Ambassadors program, aimed at enhancing staff understanding of AI through practical experimentation.

Join us to hear from Jeff Williams, ACMI’s Head of Technology and the AI Ambassador’s program architect. Jeff will outline the program, delving into the topics discussed, hands-on experiments conducted, measures of effectiveness, and the lessons learned along the way. He’ll also demonstrate some of the fun and freely-available tools that the AI Ambassadors group have been testing out.

This presentation is suitable for anyone interested in growing their organisation’s understanding of AI and making space for experimentation and innovation, especially in the culture sector. Jeff will share practical recommendations that can be adapted for organisations large and small.
