DIGITAL PRESERVATION THEORY 101

EVENT OVERVIEW

In this 45-min webinar you’ll get a brief introduction to the core concepts and vocabulary of digital preservation. If you’re new to the practice, or simply need a refresher, this is a great opportunity to get an overview of this crucial field.

Your presenters for this webinar are two digital preservation pros from the National Library of New Zealand: Valerie Love and Martin Gengenbach. Val is Kaipupuri Pūranga Matihiko Matua Senior Digital Archivist and Marty is the Digital Preservation Policy and Outreach Specialist.

The webinar would suit anyone working with collections, or simply wanting to ensure that your organisation’s digital assets stand the test of time.

You’ll also have the chance to submit your digital preservation questions before the presentation, and ask Val and Marty more questions at the end.
