Accessibility - small changes, high impact - Te Wainui Witika-Park

Te Wainui Witika-Park from Catalyst IT presents at NDF23.

Abstract

I will be speaking about the importance of accessibility, in particular digital accessibility. I have low vision and struggle to access information and data in the same way that sighted people can. I believe that small changes can make a huge impact on the way everyone can access information. I have made some changes to Koha that are a great example of easy changes with a noticeable positive impact. I would love to share these ideas which include things like heading tags, alt text, etc.
